See if you can write the script for the end times movie with the following base line parameters and questions?

The exceptionally myopic American (I know, “myopic American” is a redundant phrase) view of eschatology is that soon, God will rapture the church.  A billion people will vanish from the earth.  Economic chaos will ensue.  Isreal will then be attacked by the Ezekiel 38 consortium of military forces, which may be the same as the Daniel 11 Kings of the South and the North?  They will be supernaturally defeated.  Isreal will then build the third temple.  Three and a half years later, the boogie man antichrist will commit the “abomination of desolation” Jesus warned about (Matt 24:15), and the great tribulation will be on!

Contrast that intriguing scenario with the following facts on the ground:

The vast majority of the “churched” are not yet “known” by our Father as Jesus indicates in Matthew 7:20-23 and 25:12.  If one does the math on the “rapture”, one finds out that the 144,000 are 10% – “first fruits” (Revelation 14:4) of the harvest that Jesus reaps (Revelation 14:14-16).  The math is brutal!  Perhaps only about 1.4 million are raptured … not a billion.

70% of people in Isreal don’t want a third temple.  The nation of Israel seems to be drifting secular.

Even though MBZ built all three temples next to each other at the Abrahamic Family site in the UEA, the temple institute refuses to build the temple where sufficient land is available to the north of the Dome of the Rock.

Evidently, half of the Jewish Rabbis think that man should not build the temple because God will build it???

Why would Erdogan ever think that he could invade Israel without the US stopping him???  What naval power comes around or from Cypress (Dan 11:30 – Kittim) to stop Turkiye’s mighty navy from shelling Israeli cities from the sea?  The UK has two naval bases in Cypress but given the current UK position on Israel, why would they assist?  If the US is already there, why would Erdogan risk it.  His navy would be severely outgunned by the US navy numbers and skills and technology.  Even if the US navy can’t get there in time, wouldn’t they eventually arrive and send the Turkish navy to the bottom of the sea and return Isreal to its people as She did for Kuwait in three days, and will do for Iran soon?

How do combatants from Libya, Egypt, and Sudan (biblical Ethiopia) – (Daniel 11:43), gather at one moment in time to make their way into Isreal perhaps in ships via the gulf of Aqaba where once on land they are stopped and killed while standing on their feet?  Nobody sees this massive assemblage occurring?

How do combatants from Iran, Iraq, and perhaps Azerbaijan and some of the Stans, get military equipment past Jordan and/or Syria and into northern Isreal where they are subsequently stopped and crushed?

The abomination of desolation occurred in 167 BC with Antiochus Epiphanies.  Why didn’t the four disciples who questioned Jesus on the mount of Olives stop Him to confirm that a second abomination was going to occur … future to them?

How does Israel allow the bogie man antichrist to build his “royal pavilion” (Dan 11:45) in their country?

Now, I have a possible script for all of this … but it’s so wild, so crazy, that it’s just not rational … or believable … or even reasonably possible?

Yet I’m mindful of the Presbyterian’s favorite statement – “but God”!

What would your script look like if you had to write it?
