7 years from now …
When Jesus refused to bow to our adversary, the gravity of the situation became clear to our adversary and his minions.
Not hard to figure out that Jesus had a 12 man strategy to “make disciples”. If each man could replicate the Jesus in him into another man every 4 years, then do the math. The entire world population would have been won in less than a century. But our adversary had a contingency plan already in place.
Even before Jesus unexpectedly arrived, the adversary started a counterfeit religion to counteract our Father’s draw of His creation to Himself. A multi god religion called Hinduism. Seeing how well it worked, even before Jesus arrived, our adversary then took a second crack at diffusing the truth. In about 350 AD, they start a “state religion”. Set it up with a god … I mean a pope … to speak ex cathedra for God. Then in about 600 AD, as a final crushing blow, they started a completely made up religion based on the “Abrahamic faith” and called it Islam.
Think about it? Hinduism has well over a billion members and the vast majority of India held captive. It works so well that there’s no need to look at any other options. Jesus is politely just one more god. Can’t we all coexist?
Catholicism has a couple billion spread over the planet who are grateful that they don’t have to think for themselves. They can rely on the priest. Great strategy on our adversary’s part!
But Islam is the most brilliant! Men can have up to 4 wives. The numeric growth is exponential as they rapidly reproduce with high birth rates and keep the children brain washed. No need to evangelize like Christians do. Just keep cranking out babies!
As I look at those three counter offenses to true Christendom, I’m amazed. They’re all so well entrenched. So well financed. So blindly accepted.
I wondered if Christendom could ever overcome their incredible numbers and momentum?
Then it hit me.
In about 7 more years … it’ll all look so different?
Jesus will return.
Then 45 days later … it’ll be over!
All over.
The goats go left. The sheep stay right.
Our adversary knows of this possibility, so they’ve pushed their counterfeits as hard as possible. At this point they’re hitting their zeniths … exactly as planned.
But God!
